Additional Restraint for Cable Tray Systems

Cable tray seismic bracing is used with power, communication, and control cable tray systems to provide mechanical support and additional seismic restraint.

The system normally consists of channel cross members, threaded rods, diagonal braces, and anchoring components. It works in combination with the existing load-bearing tray support system to reduce excessive transverse movement or longitudinal displacement.

Common channel sizes include 41 × 21, 41 × 41, and 41 × 62 mm. Threaded rods can be M10, M12, M16, or M20. The system can accommodate cable trays approximately 100–1200 mm wide, while customized configurations can be produced for project-specific dimensions.

Materials include galvanized steel, carbon steel, and stainless steel. Surface treatment options include pre-galvanizing, hot-dip galvanizing, and coating.

Single-Layer and Multi-Layer Cable Tray Support

The product can be used with channel, tray, and ladder cable tray structures. Depending on the actual cable arrangement, support systems can be configured for either single-layer or multi-layer tray installations.

Multi-layer systems are particularly relevant in data centers and power distribution areas where several cable tray routes may be concentrated within the same space. In these locations, tray weight, vertical distance between layers, available overhead space, cross-member width, and brace direction all need to be considered together.

Cable tray seismic bracing can be applied in data centers, power facilities, commercial buildings, hospitals, airports, rail transit systems, industrial plants, control rooms, communication rooms, and energy facilities.

Coordination with Cable Tray Dimensions

Zhuori Metal manufactures stainless steel cable trays, galvanized cable trays, fire-resistant cable trays, and hot-dip galvanized cable trays. This product range allows support structures to be discussed together with the dimensions of the actual cable tray system.
The company has an R&D team and a production process covering material purchasing, forming, welding, assembly, and finished-product inspection.
For single-layer or multi-layer systems, cross-member width, channel specification, threaded rod size, brace arrangement, bases, and related connection structures can be adjusted according to customer drawings.
This helps establish a clearer dimensional relationship between the cable tray and its seismic support components.

Supporting Phased Electrical Projects

Samples can be produced before bulk orders to confirm dimensions and structural arrangements. Products can also be manufactured according to technical drawings or prototypes.
Different support models can be combined in one order, which is useful where several cable tray widths or layer configurations exist within the same project.
A 100% inspection is carried out before packing, and third-party inspection is accepted. Buyers can also receive photo or video manufacturing updates.
Standard products normally require around 15 days for production, while customized products generally require about one month. Repeat-order lead times can be shorter, providing continued supply support where cable tray seismic bracing needs to be added as electrical systems are expanded.
